We received a message from the city this week concerning the project. Their messages is below.
Construction on the Ward Road project will begin April 1. The first phase of the project will be the complete reconstruction of the street between Ward Park Place/Chateau Place and Alexander Creek, Local access will be maintained throughout the project, however portions of the street will be closed to through traffic throughout the duration of the construction, which is contracted for about 8 months or so.
The detour route will be 163rd to Prairie Lane and we should have the detour maps from traffic control by the end of this week.
I am mailing letters to every address within your community, as well as every address along Ward Road that will provide more information about the project, but I wanted to see if you’d like a representative or two from the City to come out to your neighborhood to answer resident questions in person at any point next week?
